2 UNIT EXPLANATION
[6] ADU Paper Conveyance/Feed Control
The paper fed from the ADU paper reversal sec-
tion is fed by transmitting the drive force of M5
(conveyance) to ADU conveyance rollers 1 to 4.
Paper is then fed to the second paper feed sec-
tion by the drive force of M6 (loop roller). In the
ADU conveyance section, pre-loop control is per-
formed to correct paper skew forcibly. To perform
this control, MC2 (ADU deceleration) and MC13
(ADU conveyance) are provided. Related signals
are PS41 (ADU conveyance/1), PS45 (ADU
paper reverse), PS46 (reverse/exit), PS48 (ADU
paper conveyance/2), PS49 (ADU deceleration),
and PS50 (ADU pre-registration). SD9 (ADU
lock) is provided to lock the handle of the ADU.
