[7] Removing and Reinstalling the
Registration Roller
In the case of the 7155/7165
Warning:
The interlock which is turned OFF when
the front right or left door opens or closes
should never be turned ON forcibly with
the ADU stand drawn out.
Caution:
Be sure the power cord has been
unplugged from the wall outlet.
a. Procedure
(1) Draw out the ADU stand from the main body.
(2) Detach the ADU cover.
(3) Remove the second paper feed unit
(4) Remove the registration MC (MC1).
(5) Turn the second paper feed unit upside down and
remove the E-ring on the front of the registration
roller.
(6) Remove the two E-rings (one at the left and the
other at the right) and one bearing from the reg-
istration roller.
(7) Slide the registration roller to the front, then
remove it by lifting the rear end.
(8) Reinstall the above parts following the removal
steps in reverse.
