Chapter 11 I Commands
iscsi enable
iscsi enable
To enable the iSCSI feature in any Cisco MDS switch, issue the iscsi enable command. To disable this
feature, use the no form of the command.
iscsi enable
no iscsi enable
Syntax Description This command has no arguments or keywords.
Defaults Disabled.
Command Modes Configuration mode.
Command History
Usage Guidelines The configuration and verification commands for the iSCSI feature are only available when iSCSI is
enabled on a switch. When you disable this feature, all related configurations are automatically
discarded.
Note This command is not supported on the Cisco MDS 9124 switch, the Cisco Fabric Switch for HP c-Class
BladeSystem, and the Cisco Fabric Switch for IBM BladeCenter.
Examples The following command enables the iSCSI feature.
switch(config)# iscsi enable
The following command disables the iSCSI feature (default).
switch(config)# no iscsi enable
