Installation Overview – MagneMotion Precision Locator
The following sequence provides an overview of the installation of the precision locator
option on a MagneMover LITE transport system. The precision locators are typically installed
on just a section of the transport system, see Installation Overview – MagneMotion Supplied
Mounting on page 243 for installation of the complete MM LITE transport system.
1. Install the pallets on the pucks and install the pucks on the transport system (see Install
Pallets and Pucks on page 297).
2. Install the precision locators on their stands (see Install the Precision Locators on the
Stands on page 298).
3. Install the precision locators (see Install the Precision Locator Assemblies on
page 298).
4. Attach the adjustable motor mounts to all motors that are used with the precision loca-
tors and install the motors (see Install the Motors on page 298).
5. Install the pneumatic controls for the precision locators (see Install the Pneumatic
Controls on page 299).
6. Install the covers on the precision locators (see Install the Covers on page 301).
NOTICE Make sure that the stand system where the MagneMover
LITE motors are mounted is properly grounded to safety
ground (earth).
