Precision Rail Option Troubleshooting
This section covers the determination of problems specific to the precision rail option for the
MagneMover LITE transport system.

Symptom Problem Description Corrective Action
Precision rail vehicles are moving
abnormally slow or jerky.
Vehicle is binding on the rails. Make sure that the rails are prop-
erly lubricated (see Manually
Lubricate the Precision Rails on
page 362, Refill the Lubricator on
Precision Rail Vehicles on
page 363, and Refill the Lubrica-
tion Pump Reservoir for Precision
Rail Systems on page 366).
Vehicle bearings are not set cor-
rectly (log messages indicate that
the motors are overheating).
Make sure that the bearing adjust-
ment on the vehicles is correct
(see Replace Precision Rail Vehi-
cles on page 428).
