4. If the M6 shoulder screws do not have Loctite pre-applied (Dri-Loc), apply two to
three drops of Loctite 243 to the threads at the top center of each puck as shown in
Figure 7-31.
5. Position the large thrust washers on the tops of both pucks as shown in Figure 7-31.
6. Position the linkage plate assembly over the tops of both pucks and make sure it seats
on the thrust washers.
7. Insert the flange bearing, gasket washer, and thrust washer with the dome up in each of
the mounting holes on the top of the linkage plate.
8. Secure the linkage plate to the top of the pucks using new M6 screws. Tighten each
screw to 2.8 N•m [25 in•lb].
The Loctite must cure for 2 hours at 22° C [72° F] before using the puck.
