9.4 Transparency Mode
To prevent the wrapping of a transparency around the fixing roller (causing the heat of the
fixing roller to melt the transparency), the surface temperature of the fixing roller is reduced
in transparency mode. F02-904-01 shows the sequence of operations in transparency mode:
