1 Remove the face plate of the connector for
the ADF from the copier.
2 Connect the ADF connector [1] to the
socket found at the back of the copier.

2.9 Installing the ADF (iR8500/iR8500P)
3 With the ADF open, mount the ADF
original tray [1] using 2 RS tightening
screws [2] (M4×8; white).
When mounting, fit the hook
[3] of the ADF tray into the
notch in the copier; then,
slide it to the left, and secure
it with screws.
