2.6 Checking the Developing Assembly
1 Remove all the tape used for the tag on
the right side of the copier.
Open the manual feed tray unit [1], and
remove the screw [3] from the cover tape
[2].
Take care. The cover tape can
tear if you open the manual
tray unit excessively.

2 Take out the developing assembly from
the package that comes with the machine.
Turn the developing assembly cylinder
gear by hand, and check the cylinder for
scratches.
3 Holding the developing assembly [1] as
shown, fit it to the machine.
When fitting the developing
assembly to the machine,
lower it from above while
taking care not to bring the
developing cylinder into
contact with the plate of the
developing assembly base.
Connect the 2 connectors [2].
