Installation
Selecting the Staple Supply Name
Enter the SP mode and execute the following information.
5841* Supply Name Setting These names appear when the user prints the Inquiry
List Press the Counter key, then press ‘Print Inquiry List’.
Press the Inquiry button on the initial User Tools screen.
013* Staple Std Enter the name of the staples in use for normal stapling
(not booklet stapling). This setting should be done for
both the B700 and B701.
022 Staple Bind Enter the name of the staples in use for booklet stapling
(saddle-stitching). This setting is required only for the
B700.
Enabling Booklet Binding (B700 Only)
To enable booklet binding (saddle-stitching) for the B700, you must select the
center stapling position.
1. Press the User Tools key.
2. Touch “Copier/Document Server Features”.
3. Touch the “Input/Output” tab.
4. Touch any “Stapling Position” button and touch the center (saddle-stitch)
stapling symbol.
5. Exit the User Tools mode. Specify the number of copies, touch the center
stapling symbol on the operation panel, then start the print job.
