path delay clear
To configure the amount of time before a SONET/SDH path delay trigger alarm is cleared, use the path delay
clear command in SONET controller configuration mode. To return the command to its default setting, use
the no form of this command.
path delay clear value
no path delay clear
Syntax Description
Value, in milliseconds, before a SONET/SDH path delay trigger alarm is cleared. The
range is 1000 to 180000. The default is 10 seconds.

Usage Guidelines
To use this command, you must be in a user group associated with a task group that includes appropriate task
IDs. If the user group assignment is preventing you from using a command, contact your AAA administrator
for assistance.

Examples
The following example shows how to specify that SONET/SDH path delay trigger alarms should be cleared
after 7000 milliseconds:
RP/0/RSP0/CPU0:router(config)# controller SONET 0/0/0/1
RP/0/RSP0/CPU0:router(config-sonet)# path delay clear 7000
