Example
The following example sets to true the “other stateful configuration” flag in
router advertisements
console(config)#interface vlan 15
console(config-if-vlan15)#ipv6 nd other-config-flag
ipv6 nd prefix
Use the ipv6 nd prefix command to configure parameters associated with
prefixes that the router advertises in its router advertisements.
Syntax
ipv6 nd prefix ipv6-prefix/prefix-length [{valid-lifetime | infinite}
{preferred-lifetime | infinite}] [no-autoconfig] [off-link]
no ipv6 nd prefix ipv6-prefix/prefix-length
ipv6-prefix—IPv6 prefix.
prefix-length—IPv6 prefix length.
valid-lifetime—Valid lifetime of the router in seconds. (Range: 0–
4294967295 seconds.)
infinite—Indicates lifetime value is infinite.
preferred-lifetime—Preferred-lifetime of the router in seconds. (Range: 0–
4294967295 seconds.)
no-autoconfig—Do not use Prefix for autoconfiguration.
off-link—Do not use Prefix for onlink determination.
Default Configuration
604800 seconds is the default value for valid-lifetime, 2592000 seconds for
preferred lifetime.
