show vlan private-vlan
Use the show vlan private-vlan command to display information about the
configured private VLANs including primary and secondary VLAN IDs, type
(community, isolated, or primary), and the ports which belong to a private
VLAN.
Syntax
show vlan private-vlan [type]
Default Configuration
This command has no default setting.
Command Mode
Privileged Exec mode, Global Configuration mode and all Configuration
submodes
User Guidelines
Do not configure private VLANs on ports configured with any of these
features:
• Link Aggregation Control Protocol (LACP)
• Multicast VLAN Registration (MVR)
• Voice VLAN
It is recommended that the private VLAN host ports be configured as
spanning-tree portfast.
The command displays the following information.
Parameter Description
Primary Primary VLAN ID.
Secondary Secondary VLAN ID.
Type Secondary VLAN type. Use the type parameter to display only
private VLAN ID and its type.
Ports Ports that are associated with a private VLAN.
