Speed regulator

After use, always switch off the speed limiter to
prevent unwanted speed regulation.
The speed limiter does not relieve the driver of
his responsibility to drive at the appropriate
speed. Do not drive at high speed if you do
not
is necessary.
Using the speed limiter in adverse weather
conditions is dangerous and can lead to
serious accidents, e.g. by water.
planing, snow, ice, leaf litter, etc. Use the
speed limiter only when road and weather
conditions permit.
WARNING
Introduction to the topic
The speed limiter helps you not to exceed a
speed you have set.
The GRA resumes the stored speed and regulates it.
Disconnect
- Press and hold the key .
The GRA is switched off and the saved speed is
deleted.
Switch to speed limiter
1.
Press the key .
2.
Select the speed limiter in the instrument panel.
The GRA is switched off.
Problems and solutions

Malfunction of the speed governor (GRA)
Abnormal operation. Switch off the speed
regulator and contact a specialist workshop.
The regulation is automatically interrupted
The clutch pedal has been depressed for a
prolonged period of time.
The vehicle has exceeded the stored speed for
a prolonged period of time.
No forward gear ratio is selected.
Any brake assist system, e.g. ASR or ESC,
has been involved.
Front Assist has braked the vehicle.
If the problem persists, disconnect the GRA and
contact a specialist workshop.
Driving with the speed limiter
The speed limit can be interrupted at any time by
pressing the accelerator pedal.
at full throttle, beyond the point of resistance. As
soon as the saved speed is exceeded, the green
controllight flashes and an acoustic
warning signal may sound. The speed
remainsstored.
The control is automatically reactivated as soon as
the speed is lower than the set speed.
Indications on the display
When the speed limiter is engaged, the saved
speed and the status of the system are shown on
the instrument cluster display.
Depending on the driving situation in question
and the version of the instrument cluster, the
following indicator lights are displayed:
The speed limiter is engaged.
The speed limiter is co
o
nnected and the regulation is active.
When the speed limiter is not regulating, the
control lamps are shown in small or grey.
Lowering
slopes
When driving downhill, the stored speed may be
exceeded due to the gradient.
Brake the vehicle by depressing the brake pedal
and, if necessary, downshift.

Speed range
The speed limiter is available on forward journeys
from 30 km/h onwards.
(20 mph) approx.
