The wireless charging function is available
depending on equipment, but not in all countries.

Before charging, remove foreign objects with
metallic components such as coins, keys, etc. from
the holder and observe the instruction manual of the
mobile phone device.
To charge a Qi-compatible mobile phone device,
place a suitable mobile phone device without the
protective casing with the screen facing upwards,
in the centre and with the entire surface resting on
the holder. Charging starts automatically.
The factory-fitted infotainment system informs you
of the start of loading and, if necessary, of foreign
objects with metal components detected in the
slide.
Remove foreign objects
immediately!
If a mobile phone device has not been placed on
the slide in the correct position, it shall be placed
in the correct position.
or if its dimensions are too large, it may not be
recognised or may not be recognised correctly. The
infotainment system indicates, under certain
circumstances, that there is a foreign object in the
holder. If a suitable mobile phone device is used
and its position corrected, the fault can be
eliminated.

The Qi standard enables wireless charging of
suitable Qi-compatible mobile phone devices.
To find out whether a mobile phone device
supports the Qi standard, please refer to the
instruction manual of the mobile phone device.
The manufacturer of the mobile phone device
provides further information on compatibility.
Only one Qi-compatible mobile phone device may
be placed horizontally on the housing surface of
the wireless charging function, without a
protective casing and with a maximum dimension
(width x length) of
80 mm x 140 mm (3.15 x 5.512 inches).
Larger Qi-compatible mobile phone devices cannot
be charged wirelessly.

The cover can prevent distractions caused by the
mobile phone device, e.g. if you receive messages.
The cover must always be closed while driving and
the screen of the mobile phone device must be
completely covered.
Notifications on the screen of the mobile phone
device can distract the driver's attention and
increase the risk of a serious accident.

Deposit only one Qi-compatible mobile
telephony device, if applicable, without the
protective casing and with a Qi-compliant di-
vice, and only one Qi-compliant mobile
telephony device, if applicable.
