Engine oil

A
If engine oil comes into contact with hot engine
parts, it could ignite. This could result in fire,
burns and other serious injury.
If oil is spilled on cold engine components, the
oil may heat up and swell when the engine is
running.
After refilling the oil, always make sure that
the cap of the oil filler neck is screwed on
tightly and that the dipstick is in place.
The oil level gauge is correctly inserted into the
guide tube. This will prevent oil from leaking
out and falling on hot engine components when
the engine is at sea.
