12-volt battery
The control lamp lights up red. The message 12 V battery
is not charged. Stop the machine i m m e d i a t e l y !
Do not continue driving! Stop the vehicle as soon
as it is safe and possible.
The 12-volt battery will not be charged while driving.
— Switch off electrical consumers that are not
required.
— Inform a specialised workshop.
— Request a check of the electrical system.
The Start-Stop system cannot start the engine. → p.

12-volt battery
The control lamp lights up red. The message Error: 12 V
on-board mains is displayed . Stop immediately ! Refer to the
manual.
Do not continue driving! Stop the vehicle as soon
as it is safe and possible.
There is a fault in the 12-volt on-board power supply.
— Inform a specialised workshop.
— Request a check of the electrical system.
12-volt battery
The control lamp lights up yellow. The message Error:
12 V on-board power supply is displayed. Please contact your
dealer .

— Request a check of the electrical system.

The control lamp lights up yellow. The message Error:
Battery 12 V. Impossible to restart. Impossible to restart .

There is a fault in the connection between the on-
board mains and the 12-volt battery.
If the propulsion system is switched off in this
situation, it cannot be switched on again. If the
propulsion system is switched off in this situation, it
cannot be switched on again.
If necessary, use the start-up aid → p. 234 or
seek the assistance of qualified personnel.

— Request a check of the electrical system.

its service life.

The indicator lamp lights up yellow. The message "Check
the 12 V battery" is displayed. Contact a workshop.
There is a fault in the connection between the on-
board mains and the 12-volt battery.
— Have your vehicle serviced by a specialist workshop.
— Request a check of the electrical system.
12-volt battery
The indicator light turns yellow and the message Low 12 V
battery is displayed. Charge while driving.
The 12-volt battery is poorly charged,
e.g. due to very low temperatures.
— Make a short trip so that the battery can be
charged again.
