The number of menus and information displays
available depends on the vehicle's electronics and
equipment.
Additional functions can be programmed or existing
functions can be changed in a specialist workshop
depending on the vehicle's equipment. Volkswagen
recommends that you visit a Volkswagen dealer for
this.
Some menu items can only be opened when the
vehicle is stationary.

As long as there is a warning with priority 1, no
menu can be accessed → p. 23. Some warnings
can be acknowledged and hidden using the
multifunction steering wheel

Selecting a menu or an information display

Switch on the ignition.
—
Customisation function: select a user.
—
If a message or the pictogram of a vehicle is
displayed, press the key → fig. 18; if
necessary several times.

To display a menu and to move within the
menu, press the key or → fig. 18.
—
To open the displayed menu or information
display, press the key → fig. 18 or wait a
few seconds until the menu or information
display opens automatically.
Make adjustments to the menus

In the displayed menu, press the arrow key
or → fig. 18 until the option is highlighted.
The desired menu item appears in a frame. The option appears
in a frame
each.

To make the desired changes, press the key

If the checkbox of the function button
is ticked

Vehicles with analogue instrument panel:

Press to switch between the current and
previous menu → fig. 18.
Vehicles with digital instrument panel:

With the key → fig. 18, you can switch
between the classic display of the circular
instruments, the large stage display without
information profiles and the enlarged view with
highlighted information profiles. The classic
display shows the large circular instruments on
the sides and the selected information profile in
the centre. Press and hold to select the
preset information profiles from the list:
Classic View without information profiles
Automatic The information profiles are adapted to
the selected driving profile. Only for vehicles
with driving profile selection.
Memory input 1 Individual selection of information
profiles
Memory input 2 Individual selection of information
profiles
