as long as this data is available for navigation.

destinations
The system offers different special destinations, e.g.
petrol stations, by means of the quick symbol in
the destination entry, in the route details and on
the map. You can prioritise the display of these
symbols

preferred categories.
Traffic bulletins
Traffic reports are displayed on the map, provided
that traffic information is available for the
navigation → p. 210, Traffic information.

Navigation data

The infotainment system has an internal
navigation data memory. Depending on the
country, the necessary navigation data may
already be pre-installed.
The infotainment system always needs current
data in order to be able to guide the driver to the
destination correctly and to be able to make full use
of the functions offered.
If you use outdated data, errors may occur during
navigation. It will not be possible to plot actual
routes or the destination guides will lead to the
wrong destinations.

Keep navigation data up to date at all times.
Update navigation data online
Depending on equipment and country, it is possible
to update the navigation data online. Navigation
data for frequently used regions are automatically
updated in the background if the Internet
connection is established and the privacy settings
are valid. When the ignition is switched on, the
navigation data is updated automatically.
The automatic update of navigation data
depends on the privacy settings of the user.
