Table of the fuses located in the
engine compartment

To fit the cover, place it over the fuse box and
press it down until you hear it click into place on
both sides.
On the inside of the engine compartment fuse box
cover there may be plastic clips for removing fuses
→ fig. 155 2 .

The table shows the fuse positions of the fuses of
the electrical consumers relevant to the conductor.
The first column of the table shows the position of
the fuse and the other columns show the type of
fuse, the amperage and the relevant consumer.
Depending on the market and vehicle equipment,
the numbers and positions of the fuses may differ
from those shown in the table. If necessary, ask a
Volkswa- gen dealer about the exact fuse
assignment.

Open and close the fuse box on the
instrument
panel.

Remove the cover by pulling it downwards in the
direction of the arrow → fig. 157.

To fit the cover, press the cover into the
instrument panel holders in the opposite
direction to the arrow until it audibly clicks into
place → fig. 157.
Depending on the equipment, there may be plastic
clips on the inside of the cover for removing fuses.
