Adapt the volume of external audio sources
If you want to increase the playback volume of an
external audio source, first turn down the volume
on the infotainment system.
If the connected audio source is too low, increase
the output volume on the external audio source. If
it is not sufficient, adjust the input volume to
medium or high.
If the connected external audio source is too loud
or distorted, reduce the output volume on the
external audio source. If it is not sufficient, adjust the
input volume to medium or low.
Cleaning the screen
Please note and from page 186.
To clean the screen, consider this checklist:
✓ The infotainment is switched off.
✓ Use a clean, soft cloth dampened with water.
OR: use the cleaning cloth available from
Volkswagen dealers.
✓ In case of persistent soiling:
— dampen and soften the dirt with just a little
water.
— Then remove the dirt carefully with a clean,
soft cloth.
If you clean the screen with unsuitable cleaning
agents or while it is dry, you may damage the
screen.

When cleaning, press only lightly.
•
Do not use aggressive cleaning products or
products containing solvents. Such products
may damage the equipment and "darken" the
screen.
