If the seat belt webbing is not correctly
positioned, it can cause serious injury in the event
of an accident, braking or sudden manoeuvre.

vertical position.
•
If the safety belt moves from the hard parts of
the body to the soft parts of the body (e.g. the
abdomen), for example by slackness, it may be
necessary to remove the safety belt.
This could cause serious injury.

The shoulder band should pass over the centre

The seatbelt height adjusters in the front seats can
be used to adjust the position of the seatbelt in the
shoulder area according to the height of the
occupant so that the seatbelt can be correctly
positioned:
—
Compress the forwarding device in the direction
of the arrows and hold it in this position.
→ fig. 33.

Slide the forwarding device upwards
or downwards until the safety belt

Never pull the seat belt away from the body
by hand.
