Cat. Before storing it, the jack must be fully
retracted.
Maintenance: As a rule, the jack does not
require any regular maintenance. If necessary,
lubricate with universal grease.

To prevent damage to the front bonnet and
windscreen wiper arms, only lift the windscreen
wiper arms off the windscreen once they are on
the windscreen.

To lift a wiper arm, grasp it only by the area
where the wiper blade is attached.
Before you start driving, place the windscreen
wiper arms back on the windscreen! With the
ignition switched on, press the windscreen wiper
lever down briefly to return the wiper arms to their
original position.

The factory-fitted wiper blades are equipped with a
graphite layer. This layer is responsible for the
quiet wiping of the glass. If the layer is damaged,
this will, among other things, increase the wiping
noise on the glass.
Check the condition of the
wiper
blades regularly.
If
the wiper blades are
difficult
to slide
, replace
them if they are damaged or clean them if they are
dirty → p. 228.
If the wiper blades are damaged, replace them
immediately. Windscreen wiper blades are available
from a specialist workshop.
Cleaning the window wiper blades
For windscreen wipers:
Before raising
the
windscreen wiper arms, move them to the
operating position → page 227.

To lift a wiper arm, grasp it only by the area
where the wiper blade is attached.

Clean the brushes carefully with a damp sponge
