Acoustic
signals
When the distance to the obstacle is sufficient, an

place
?
The following requirements must be met for
automatic brake intervention:

mph) when manoeuvring.

intervention function is active.

The system detects an obstacle.

the parking aid has been automatically engaged

What happens in case of automatic
brake
intervention
?

The system brakes the vehicle to a standstill
and holds it for approx. 2 seconds.
Connect
—
Automatic brake intervention is activated as soon
as a parking system is activated.

Press the function button on the infotainment
system display to manually activate the
manoeuvring braking function.
Disconnect
—
The automatic freeze intervention function is
deactivated as soon as a parking system is
deactivated.

OR: press the function button on the
infotainment system panel to manually
deactivate the parking aid's manoeuvring
braking function.
The automatic brake intervention of a parking
system serves to reduce the danger of
collision when an obstacle is detected during
the parking operation.
