from towing.
When towing, always ensure that no inadmissible
pulling forces or jolts are generated. There is
always a risk of overloading the attachment parts
on tracks without a firm floor.
Observe the legal provisions on towing.
Towing

not roadworthy.
The vehicle can be towed with a tow bar or tow bar.
When the engine is stationary, the gearbox is not
sufficiently lubricated at high speeds and when
travelling long distances:
The maximum permitted towing speed is 50
km/h (30 mph).
The maximum permitted towing distance is 50
km (30 miles).
Tow rope and tow bar
The tow bar is safer for the towed vehicle and
prevents damage to the vehicle. The tow rope
should only be used if a tow bar is not available.
The tow rope must be elastic to prevent damage to
the vehicles. Use a rope made of synthetic fibre or
similar elastic material.
Towing with a crane
If the vehicle has to be lifted on an axle for towing,
it is only permitted to lift the vehicle on the following
axles depending on the combination of gearbox
and traction:
Front-wheel
drive:
Manual gearbox
Front axle or rear axle
Automatic gearbox
Front axle
After receiving the jump-starting aid, visit a
specialist workshop and have the 12-volt battery
