— If the settings are changed, the indications on
the display may change and the infotainment
may in some cases behave differently than
described in this instruction manual.
— When the engine is switched off and the charge
level of the vehicle's 12 V battery is low, the
infotainment is automatically switched off.
— In some vehicles with parking assistance, the
volume of the audio source is automatically
reduced when reverse gear is engaged. The
volume reduction can be adjusted.
— Information on the bundled software and on the
licence conditions can be found under Copyright
Settings .
— When selling or lending the vehicle, make sure
that all stored data, files and settings have been
deleted and, if necessary, that the SD card,
external audio sources and data media have
been removed.

Radio with integrated hardware (6.5 inch version )
The factory-fitted in-vehicle radio with integrated
hard- ware includes country-specific components
and software for connectivity and for the execution
of vehicle, comfort and infotainment functions.
The corresponding information is shown on the
radio display and, to some extent, in the
instrument cluster and head-up display.
— Capacitive colour display:
- TFT version, WVGA: 800 x 480 pixels.
— Touch operation via device display, rotary
push button, menu button and buttons on the
multifunction steering wheel.
Central computer with control and display unit (9.2
inch and 8 inch version)
The factory-fitted central computer in the vehicle
includes country-specific components
and software for connectivity and for the execution
of vehicle, comfort and infotainment functions.

— Operation of the devices via touch zones, by
touching the screen, with the buttons on the
multi-function steering wheel and proximity
sensors (driver and passenger side recognition,
gesture control).
Basic equipment of the sound system
The factory-fitted infotainment system is equipped as
follows:
— 8 loudspeakers in different locations and with
different power levels (watts).
— Internal amplifier power: max. 4 x 20 watts.
— Adjustment options:
— Equaliser, treble, mid and bass.
— Volume distribution front, rear, left and right
(Balance and Fader).
Optional sound system
The infotainment can be extended with an optional
sound system as follows:
— Up to 16 speakers in different locations and
with different power levels (watts).
— External amplifier (Ethernet), which processes
the audio signals sent by the host computer.
— Excitation of the loudspeaker channels via class
AB/D final stages.
— Audio signal processing in the internal digital
signal processor (DSP).
— Separate subwoofer.
— Adjustment options:
— Equalizer, treble, mid and bass.
— Volume distribution front, rear, left and right
(Balance and Fader).
— Seat-dependent sound optimisation (Sound
Focus).
