Information for the driver
Selecting the instruments and setting the units
The display can simultaneously show
maximum of three instruments. All instruments
can be selected indistinctly for any display area →
fig. 19 (left,
centre and right).
To switch between instruments, swipe upwards on
the screen. The selected instrument will disappear
and a different one will appear.
The unit of some instruments can be set in the
infotainment system → p. 29.
The following instruments can be displayed:
—
Boost pressure indicator:
This
indicator → fig. 19
(on the left) shows the pressure in the section
between the turbocharger and the engine (in
the unit "bar").

the larger the scale, the greater the power
delivered by the engine.

Acceleration meter (accelerometer):

If the needle moves more clockwise in high
outside temperatures, the needle may move
further clockwise. This is not important as long
as the indicator light does not light
up or flash in the instrument cluster display →
page 20.
—
Oil temperature indicator:
Under
normal running
conditions, the needle remains in the centre
area. If the needle is in the lower left-hand
zone, the engine has not yet reached operating
temperature. Avoid driving at high speed and
hard acceleration until the engine has reached
operating temperature. If the engine is
subjected to high stresses at high outside
temperatures, the needle may move further

acceleration (in the unit "g") in the central zone.
The red marking in the crosshatched area shows
the force of the acceleration and the direction of
the acting force (in the opposite direction
according to the laws of physics). If, for
example, it is turned to the left, the red mark
moves to the right of the instrument (and vice
versa). When accelerating, the red mark moves
downwards. When braking, the red mark moves
upwards. The strength of the acceleration is
represented by the position of the red mark from
the inside to the outside. When the acceleration
increases, the red mark moves away from the
central area.

Power indicator:
The power indicator

engine power in digital format and on the
surrounding scale (in kW).

coolant temperature gauge
: If the
engine is subjected to high engine
temperatures, the engine coolant
temperature
indicator will be displayed.
After starting the engine when cold, avoid high
engine speeds, overstarting and acceleration.
Due to the method available on the vehicle
for obtaining the power values,
the values shown may not be completely accurate.
If the driver is distracted, this can lead to an
accident and injury. Operating the infotainment
system can distract attention from traffic.
•
Always drive with attention to traffic and in a
responsible manner.
