entertainment
content
in the infotainment system
The folder structure of the selected media
source is displayed. When
My Media
is
selected,
the
categories (music, videos, playlists) and
connected media sources are
displayed first.

Find the title you want in the folder structure.
OR: press to start the text search. The
input field is displayed.

Enter the name of the desired title. The list of
the titles found is updated during entry.
4.
Click on the title of your choice.
If your selection is located in a folder of a
multisource when you start playback, the
media files in this folder are added to the
playback.
If a playlist is played, all available titles in the
playlist are added to the playback.
5.
Close your selection with .
In favourites you can save titles, music genres,
artists and albums individually for playback.

Access favourites.
2.
Click on the favourite of your choice.
Depending on your selection, all the titles belonging
to the favourite are added to the playback.
Depending on equipment, you can use streaming
services directly via the infotainment system.

Select
Streaming media
as the
multi-media
source.
A list of available strea- ming services is
displayed.
2.
Select the desired streaming service.
An input field is displayed where you can enter
your login details.
3.
Enter the login details of the desired user
account and confirm them.
The streaming service is added to the list of
media sources as a new function button.
Save
favourites
Only media files that are saved in My Media can be
saved as favourites, in the
Music and Video folders. You can save individual
titles, albums, artists and music genres as favourites.

To start playback.
2.
Access favourites.
3.
Press an unassigned favourite.
OR: Tap and hold on an existing
Favourite for approx. 3 seconds.

Select from the selection list:
—
Title.
—
Album.
—
Interpreter.
—
Musical genres.
—
Playlist.
The selection is saved in place of the previously
selected favourite. If the favourite was already
assigned, the saved favourite is overwritten.
The selectable options in the selection list depend
on the data attached to the multime- dia file. If the
music files do not indicate the music genre, for
example, the music genre cannot be saved as a
favourite.
If a video file is playing, only that video can be
saved as a favourite.

Video
Mode
In Video mode, a video from a data carrier can be
played on the infotainment screen.
or from a streaming service → p. 204. The sound
of the video is played through the vehicle's
loudspeakers.
For playback from a streaming service, a stable
internet connection is required. In this case,
telephone costs may be incurred.
The image is only displayed if the vehicle is
stationary. During driving, the infotainment screen
is switched off. The video sound can still be heard.
