Infotainment

Press
Select mobile phone
.

Unlock the mobile phone device.

Place the mobile phone device correctly in the
holder of the wireless charging function.

Continue with the Bluetoot pairing by
following the prompts on the mobile phone
device and in the infotainment system and
confirm.

The wireless charging function is deactivated. When
you exit this menu, the wireless charging function
is reactivated.
Active and passive connection
To use the functions of the telephone interface, at
least one mobile phone device must be connected
to the infotainment system. If several mobile
phone devices are connected to the infotainment,
you can switch between active and passive
connections. To use the telephone interface with
the desired mobile phone device, establish the
active connection to the infotainment.
Difference between connection types
Active The mobile telephony device is packaged
and connected. The functions of the
telephone interface are carried out with the
data of the mobile telephony device.
Passive The mobile phone device is packaged and
connected. Only incoming calls can be
accepted via the telephone interface. No
other functions are available.
Paired mobile phone devices are stored in the
infotainment, even if they are not currently
connected.
Connecting a mobile phone device
Precondition: The mobile phone device is paired
with the infotainment system.
- Activate Bluetooton the mobile phone device.
Establishing an active connection
Precondition: Several mobile phone devices are
connected to the infotainment system at the
same time.

Press .
OR: tap on the name of the active mobile
phone device.
2.
Select the name of the desired mobile phone
device. All other mobile phone devices are
automatically in the passive connection.
User profiles
An individual user profile is automatically created
for each paired mobile phone device. The user
profile stores data from the mobile phone device,
e.g. contact data or settings. A maximum of ten
user profiles can be stored in the infotainment
system at the same time.
To delete the saved data completely, reset the
infotainment to factory settings.
Basic and Comfort Telephony
Please note and on page 186.
Depending on equipment and country, the following
types of telephone interface may be installed in
your vehicle:
Basic telephone interface.
Comfort telephone interface.
Basic telephone interface
The Basic telephone interface uses the Blue-
tooth® HFP profile for transmission. This interface
enables the use of the phone's functions
via infotainment and playback through the
vehicle's loudspeakers.
Comfort Telephone Interface
Like the Basic telephone interface, the Comfort
telephone interface also uses the Blue- tooth®
HFP profile.
The Comfort telephone interface can be equipped
with the wireless charging function → p. 215.
In order to be able to use the functions of the
wireless car function, you must place a suitable
mobile phone device correctly in the holder.
Depending on the equipment, the mobile phone
device is connected to the vehicle's antenna. This
improves the reception and sound quality of calls.
