tection films, do not select a hot wax wash
programme.
— Also order regular washing
thoroughly underneath the vehicle to remove
debris.
Dirt containing aggressive components
or solvents can irreparably damage vehicle
equipment such as seat upholstery or decorative
parts, even if they are cleaned quickly.

Do not allow the dirt to dry.

Have stubborn stains cleaned by a specialised
cleaner.
Washing the vehicle
In order to properly and adequately wash your
vehicle, please note the following information

Automatic washing installations
✓ The windows are closed and the door mirrors
are folded down.
✓ Vehicles with steering column lock: If the
vehicle is mechanically towed in the automatic
car wash system (car wash), the steering
column must never be locked → page 132.
✓ The windscreen wipers → p. 97 and the rain
and light sensor → p. 98 are switched off.
✓ Auto-Hold function is deactivated

Automatic washing systems that mechanically

— Observe the manufacturer's instructions and
under no circumstances use rotating nozzles.
