Closing the windows without the power windows'
anti-trap function can cause serious injury.

Always close windows with caution.

Do not allow anyone to remain in the area of

Closing the windows without the anti-trap function-

— Try to close the window again by pulling the
button without releasing it within a few seconds.
The anti-trap function is deactivated!
— If the closing process takes longer than a few
seconds, the anti-trap function is reactivated .
The window will stop again if it encounters
resistance or an obstacle and will open again
automatically.
— If the window still does not close, contact a
specialist workshop.
The anti-trap function also functions when the
windows are closed with the
comfort function via the vehicle key.
Problems and solutions
The automatic lowering and raising of the mounts
does not work.
If the 12-volt battery is disconnected or discharged
without the windows being fully closed, the
automatic lowering and raising function of the power
windows is deactivated and must be reset:
— Switch on the ignition.
— Close all doors and windows.
— Pull the corresponding window button upwards
and hold it in this position for a few seconds.
— Release the button, pull it up again and hold it
in this position. This resets the automatic
lowering and raising function.
The function can be reset for one or several sales
windows at the same time.
Glass roof
Opening and closing the glass ceiling
The generic term 'glass roof' is used to designate
the panoramic sunroof and deflector.

The glass roof consists of two glass elements and
has an opening system. The rear element is fixed
and cannot be opened.
The sunblind opens automatically together with the
glass roof if it is in front of it. The sunblind can only
be fully closed when the glass roof is closed.
The key has two levels:
First level: The roof is placed in the fully or partially
deflected position, opened or closed.
Second level: The roof automatically moves to the
corresponding end position.
Pressing the button again stops the automatic
function.
Adjust the deflecting position of the glass roof, open
and close it.
Adjust the deflecting position of the glass roof:
— Manual function: press the button
through the zo- → fig. 69 to the first
level.
— Automatic function: press the key through
the zone to the second level.
