Information profiles
Using the Digital Cockpit option in the infotainment
system's vehicle settings menu , you can choose
between different information profiles for specific
topics → p. 29. Depending on the information
profile selected, the digital instrument cluster
displays additional information in the centre of the
circular instruments, or the instruments are hidden
and the information is displayed across the entire
screen. The following information profiles are
available to choose from:
— Gear. Digital display of the currently engaged gear
or selected gear ratio.
— Speed . Digital speed indication.
— Consumption. Graphical representation of
current consumption and digital display of
average consumption.
— Autonomy. Digital indication of the remaining
autonomy.
— Route. Digital display of the route travelled.
— Information on arrival at destination . Digital
display of remaining travel time, distance to
destination and estimated time of arrival.
— Acceleration. Graphical representation of
longitudinal and transverse acceleration.
— Assistants. Graphical representation of different
assistance systems.
— Altitude. Digital display of the current altitude
above sea level.
— Navigation. Graphical representation of
navigation by arrows.
— Compass . Digital compass display.
— Audio. Digital display of the current audio
playback.
Depending on the equipment, the number and
content of selectable information profiles may
vary.
Navigation map in the digital instrument cluster
Depending on the equipment, the digital
instrument cluster can display a detailed map. To
do this, select the menu item Navigation in the
instrument cluster → page 28.
The navigation map can be displayed in three sizes.
In the large size, the navigation map is displayed
across the entire width of the screen. To adjust the
map size, proceed as follows:
— To switch between the map sizes, press the
button on the multifunction steering wheel
→ p. 28.
— To zoom in or out, press or on the
multifunction steering wheel.
— To switch to automatic mode, while manually
enlarging or reducing the picture, press the key
on the multifunction steering wheel.
Depending on the equipment, navigation can be
displayed on two screens or only on one screen.
The navigation map can be displayed in the digital
instrument cluster and the infotainment system, or
only in the infotainment system. In the latter case,
only navigation arrows are displayed in the digital
instrument cluster.
The Digital Cockpit is a digital instrument
cluster with a high-resolution TFT colour
display. By selecting different information
profiles, additional displays can be shown in
addition to the classic circular instruments,
such as the rev counter or the speedometer.
In future, the term "digital instrument cluster"
will be used for the Digital Cockpit.
