Rotor check
Rotor insulation check
Make sure that there is no continuity between the
commutator and the rotor coil: use an ohmmeter.
If there is continuity, replace the remote control.
Commutator continuity check
Check the continuity between each segment ad-
jacent to the commutator with an ohmmeter. If
there is no continuity among any of the adjacent
segments, replace the rotor.
Commutator check
1. Check for possible burning on each contact sur-
face of the commutator segments with the brush-
es. If surfaces are dirty or burnt, rectify with
abrasive paper (No. 400) or with a lathe.
