Head removal/overhaul
Head Removal - Cylinders
1. Remove the water temperature sensor from the
cylinder head.
2. Remove the bracket for engine handling.
3. Remove the cotters and valve spring stop caps,
with the special tool.
Specific tooling
020382Y Tool to remove the valve cotters
4. Remove the valve springs.
N.B.
POSITION THE PARTS REMOVED SO THAT THEIR ORIG-
INAL FITTING POSITIONS CAN BE EASILY IDENTIFIED.
5. Remove the valves.
