Coolant temperature sensor
Radiator thermoswitch removal
1. Disconnect the battery negative (-) terminal.
2. Drain the coolant.
3. Disconnect the radiator thermoswitch connec-
tor.
4. Remove the radiator thermoswitch from the ra-
diator pipe.
Radiator thermoswitch inspection
Radiator thermoswitch specifications:
The figure shows the hysteresis cycle of the ther-
moswitch.
1. Connect an ohmmeter between terminals A and
B of the radiator thermoswitch.
2. Immerse the switch heat measuring section in a
water bath.
