If the value measured is lower than the rated value,
replace the pulley.
2. Visually check for possible damage on the pul-
ley. If there is damage, replace the pulley.
3. Carry out a visual inspection of the crankshaft
pulley flange, to check for possible bending, wear
or damage.
If there is damage, replace the flange.
Crankshaft pulley removal
1. Remove the timing belt.
2. Remove the screw locking the crankshaft pulley
LOCK THE CRANKSHAFT WITH THE SPECIAL TOOL FIT-
TED INSTEAD THE STARTER MOTOR. DURING A SERV-
ICE ON A BENCH, USE THE SPECIAL TOOL.
