Removal
WARNING
Switch off the electricity to the machine. Refer to GP 14. Disconnect the power cord
from the customer supply while performing tasks that do not need electricity. Electricity
can cause death or injury. Moving parts can cause injury.
WARNING
Take care during this procedure. Sharp edges may be present that can cause injury.
1. Pull out tray 3.
2. Remove the right side cover. PL 70.25 Item 4.
3. Remove the tray 3 motor, Figure 1.

Replacement
The replacement is the reverse of the removal procedure.

NOTE: The elevator drives at the front and at the rear are similar for both trays.
1. Remove tray 3, REP 73.1.
2. Remove the tray 3 front cover, PL 70.25 Item 3 (2 screws from below the cover).
3. Remove the cables from the front drive pulley, Figure 1.

Remove 2 screws.

Disconnect in-line connector
and connector on sensor.

Remove tray 3 motor and
bracket

Remove E
clip.

Remove the short cable from the
drive pulley.

Remove the long cable from the
drive pulley.

Remove the cable gear
shaft spacer.
