NAME: Manufacturing removal of air pumps from registration/preheat assemblies
PURPOSE: Cost down. Extensive testing ascertained that the air pumps in the registration/
preheat assembly could be removed with the associated internal hoses and
plastic pump cover. Springs have been added to carry the weight of the metal
heat plates. This change was cut into manufacturing starting with machine
serial number: XE: 3661864396, XC: XNE133202.
NOTE: Although the W/TAG 018 machines do not have air pumps install as
standard. The preheat air pumps in a replacement registration/preheat assem

bly will function when the unit is installed, refer to service bulletin T8009-12-06.
