3.2 Load and Save

Call up the command with the following parameters:
load tftp {ipv4 <ucast_addr> | fqdn-name <FQDN> | ipv6 <ip6_addr>} [port <tcp port
(1-65535)>] file <filename> filetype <filetype>
The parameters have the following meaning:
Keyword for an IPv4 address
IPv4 unicast address of the TFTP
server
Enter a valid unicast IPv4 ad-
dress.
Keyword for a domain name
Domain name (Fully Qualified Domain
Maximum of 100 characters
Keyword for an IPv6 address
IPv6 address of the TFTP server Enter a valid unicast IPv6 ad-
Keyword for the port of the server via
which the TFTP connection runs

Keyword for a file name to be assigned
Maximum of 100 characters
Keyword for the file type to be loaded
Maximum of 100 characters

For information on the file types , refer to this list (Page 101).
The file is loaded on the device from the TFTP server.
save filetype
Description
With this command, you save files on a TFTP server.
You are in the User EXEC mode or in the Privileged EXEC mode.
The command prompt is as follows:
cli> or cli#
