10.2 Static MAC filtering

You are in the Global configuration mode.
The command prompt is as follows:
cli(config)#
Call up the command with the following parameters:
mac-address-table block static multicast<aa:aa:aa:aa:aa:aa>vlan<vlan-id(1-4094)>
The parameters have the following meaning:
MAC address of the interface
Keyword for a VLAN connection -
Number of the addressed VLAN
For information on names of addresses and interfaces, refer to the section "Interface
identifiers and addresses (Page 39)".
The static multicast MAC address is configured.
You delete the static multicast MAC address with the no mac-address-table static
multicast
command.
mac-address-table static multicast
Description
With this command, you generate a static multicast MAC address entry in the forwarding
database.
You are in the Global configuration mode.
