ipv6 ospf linkLSASuppress
Description
With this command, you disable the distribution of the LAS type "Link" and the entry is
removed from the database of the routers that are reachable via the link. The routers can
determine the IPv6 address of the next router (next hop) via the IPv6 source address from
the hello packet of the next router.
Note
This command is available only with layer 3.
● The interface is an IPv6 interface.
● The OSPFv3 network is a point-to-point or point-to-multipoint network.
● You are in the Interface configuration mode
The command prompt is as follows:
cli(config-if-$$)#
Call the command without parameter assignment:
ipv6 ospf linkLSASuppress
The LAS type "Link" is not distributed.
You disable the setting with the no ipv6 ospf linkLSASuppres command.
You configure the OSPF network with the
ipv6 ospf network command.
You enable OSPFv3 routing with the
ipv6 router ospf command.
You display information about the configuration with the
show ipv6 ospf interface
command.
