You configure a static entry in the IPv6 routing table with the ipv6 route command.
You display the IPv6 routing table with the
show ipv6 route command.
ipv6 unicast-routing
Description
With this command, you enable IPv6 routing on the device.
Note
IPv4 routing
If IPv4 routing is not enabled on the device, this is also enabled with this function.
You are in the Global configuration mode.
The command prompt is as follows:
cli(config)#
Call the command without parameter assignment:
ipv6 unicast-routing
IPv6 routing is enabled.
You disable the IPv6 routing with the no ipv6 unicast-routing command.
You display the IPv6 routing table with the
show ipv6 route command.
