● The Interface must be shut down.
● You are in the Interface configuration mode.
● The command prompt is as follows:
cli(config-if-$$$)#
Call up the command with the following parameters:
mtu <frame-size(64-9216)>
The parameter has the following meaning:
Size of the MTU in bytes 64 ... 9216
The setting for the size of the MTU is configured.
You can shut down the interface with the shutdown command.
You display this setting with the
show interface mtu command.
You display this setting and other information with the
show interfaces command.
multicast-block
Description
With this command, you enable the blocking of multicast frames on an interface.
You are in the Interface configuration mode.
The command prompt is as follows:
cli(config-if-$$$)#
Call the command without parameter assignment:
multicast-block
