Call up the command with the following parameters:
vrrp <vrid(1-255)> preempt
The parameters have the following meaning:
Keyword for a period of time -
The function is enabled.
You assign IP addresses to a virtual router with the vrrp associated -ip command.
You enable routing with VRRP3 with the
router vrrp command.
You disable the function with the
no vrrp preempt command.
You can display the status of the function with the
show vrrp3 interface - vrid or with the
show vrrp3 interface command.

Description
With this command, you specify that a router cannot take over the master role from a router
with lower priority. The master role is adopted only if the current master router fails.
and is available only with layer 3.
● An IP address is assigned to the virtual router.
● You are in the VRRP3 Interface configuration mode.
