Syntax
Call the command without parameters:
no spanning-tree auto-edge
Result
The automatic discovery of a bridge on the interface is disabled.
Further notes
The automatic discovery of a bridge on the interface is enabled with the spanning-tree auto-
edge
command.

spanning-tree bpdu-transmit
Description
With this command, you enable or disable the BPDU transmit status at the port.
Requirement
You are in the Interface Configuration mode.
The command prompt is as follows:
cli(config-if-$$$)#
Syntax
Call up the command with the following parameters:
spanning-tree bpdu-transmit{enabled|disabled}
The parameters have the following meaning:

enabled
BPDU packets are transmitted at the
port
Default: enabled
disabled
BPDU packets are not transmitted at
the port

Result
The BPDU transmit status has switched over.
